Based in Ubud, just minutes from the town’s local attractions, you’ll enjoy the perfect balance of relaxation, cultural experiences, and wellness activities.

During the retreat, you will:

  • Travel insurance - comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory to cover flight delays, lost baggage, as well as medical insurance

  • Tips to staff (While not mandatory, always appreciated. More info to come)

  • Visa - for U.S. citizens you may order online (tourist B1 visa) ahead of time or pay on arrival to the airport. At the time of this writing, it is $35 USD and valid for 30 days.

  • Any other excursions not listed in program ( Massages and other excursions available upon request at the facility )

  • Drinks other than water at meals (alcoholic beverages not included)

Bali Information

Visa:

As mentioned above you will either need to get a visa ahead of time or purchase on arrival to the airport in Indonesia. At the time of this writing it is $35 USD. It is valid for 30 days.

Passport:

***Your passport must have TWO blank pages and be valid for 6 months AFTER the date of our departure, so your passport will need to be valid until February 8, 2027. ***

Immunizations:

Please visit the CDC website for more info. Routine vaccinations are recommended as well as you may want to consider typhoid vaccine. You also may want to consider bringing prophylactic antibiotics to take in case of traveler's diarrhea if your doctor will allow it.

Currency:

Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). At the time of this writing, 1 USD = about 16,700 Indonesian Rupiah. Should make it fun for conversion ha!

**Cash is widely used; smaller towns may not accept credit cards. ATMs are widely available in tourist areas, but carry some cash for rural excursions.

Water:

Do NOT drink tap water in Bali, only drink water bottles with unbroken caps.

● Use bottled water to brush your teeth.

● Don't open your mouth in the shower.

● Don't get ice in your drinks.

Adaptors:

You can use European C/F adaptors.

Culture:

Bali is predominantly Hindu; temples and ceremonies are culturally significant.

  • Dress modestly when visiting temples (sarongs usually provided).

  • Respect local customs: do not step on offerings, and always use your right hand for giving/receiving.

  • Greetings: a smile and slight bow are polite.

Weather in August:

  • Season: Dry season (best time to visit Bali)

  • Temperature: Average daytime highs around 30°C (86°F), nighttime lows around 22°C (72°F)

  • Rainfall: Very low—August is one of the driest months

  • Humidity: Moderate (around 70%)

  • Sunlight: Plenty of sunshine, ideal for outdoor activities, sightseeing, and beach trips

  • Clothing: Light, breathable clothing for daytime; a light jacket or shawl for cooler evenings

Tip: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses are essential, and staying hydrated is important in the tropical climate.

● NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT (once trip is confirmed with minimum guests)

● Within 120 and 61 days of travel: 50% of tour price.

● Within 60 and 1 days of travel: 100% of tour price.

Welcome to Bali!

Arrive in Bali and be greeted with a traditional Balinese welcome ceremony to start your journey in the island’s vibrant culture. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring nourishing local cuisine and connect with fellow travelers as you settle in for your retreat.

Day 2

Sacred Water Healing & Ubud Adventures | Bali

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before traveling to a sacred water temple, where guests will be cleansed and blessed in natural holy waters, a spiritual experience to set intentions and release what no longer serves them. (Note: women who are menstruating may observe the ceremony from nearby areas.)

Afterward, enjoy lunch overlooking the stunning Tegallalang Rice Terraces, followed by the Swing to Freedom experience above the lush rice fields and a coffee and tea tasting, including the option to try the renowned Luwak Kopi.

Return to the retreat venue in the evening for an included dinner, providing time to relax, connect with fellow guests, and reflect on the day’s experiences.

Note: The temple visit involves approximately 300 steps; non-slip sandals or walking shoes are recommended.

Breathwork & Fire Healing | Bali

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel followed by a Clarity Breathwork session in the morning. This gentle yet powerful practice supports stress release, emotional healing, and deeper self-awareness, incorporating dance, intention setting, meditation, guided breathwork, and live sound healing.

The afternoon is free time to relax, explore Ubud, or enjoy the retreat grounds at your leisure.

In the evening, gather for an included dinner before traveling to a Fire Healing Ceremony at a Balinese Guru’s Ashram, 45 minutes from Ubud. Guests receive a traditional blessing while sitting around an enchanting fire pit, making offerings, honoring their higher power, and experiencing a practice that promotes transformation and renewal.

Besakih Temple & Cultural Exploration | Bali

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Besakih Temple, Bali’s revered "Mother Temple," located on the slopes of Mount Agung.

Explore this majestic complex of over 20 temples, marvel at the intricate Balinese architecture, and soak in the panoramic views of rice terraces, lush forests, and the volcano itself.

Lunch is included during this excursion. The drive from Ubud takes approximately 90 minutes, with walking and steps involved, so a moderate fitness level is recommended.

Return to the retreat in the afternoon for free time to relax or explore Ubud at your leisure, followed by an included dinner in the evening.

Morning Yoga & Free Day | Bali

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel followed by a gentle yoga session at the retreat, designed to stretch, relax, and center the body and mind.

The rest of the day is free for personal relaxation at the resort to enjoy the amenities or optional activities such as massage, a visit to the Monkey Forest, or other experiences to be determined.

Conclude the day with an included dinner, providing a chance to connect with fellow guests and reflect on your personal experiences.

Full Beach Day at Virgin Beach | Bali

After breakfast at the hotel, head out for a rejuvenating full-day beach escape at Virgin Beach, one of Bali’s most stunning hidden white-sand beaches. Spend your day unwinding by the ocean, swimming in clear turquoise waters, and embracing the peaceful natural beauty of Bali’s eastern coastline.

Enjoy lunch at local favorite Fisherman Cafe for some fresh fish and delicious dishes.

Day 7

Yoga, Free Time & Balinese Fire Dance + Dinner | Bali

Begin your morning with a gentle yoga session at the retreat, followed by a nourishing breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy free time throughout the day to relax by the pool, explore Ubud, schedule a massage or other activity, or simply rest and reflect.

In the evening, experience one of Bali’s most mesmerizing cultural traditions: the Kecak & Fire Dance. Hosted at the stunning outdoor amphitheater at Tanah Gajah Ubud, this performance features a dynamic troupe of 50–70 local men and boys. Their rhythmic chanting, dramatic storytelling, and captivating fire sequences make it one of the island’s most unforgettable artistic expressions.

After the 30-minute show, guests will have an opportunity to take photos with the performers before enjoying a Royal Rijsttafel dinner at The Tempayan restaurant—an elegant culinary experience showcasing the rich flavors of Bali.

This activity takes place at a resort approximately 15 minutes from central Ubud.

Farewell to Bali

Enjoy a final, nourishing breakfast at the resort as you soak in the last peaceful moments of your retreat. Share a warm group farewell, reflecting on the connections made and the transformation experienced throughout the week.

Afterward, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your journey home.
